Jordan Peele’s (director of the horror cult classic, Get Out) newest hit film Us, a thriller or mystery or something, is exactly what one would expect from the director of the critically acclaimed 2017 horror film Get Out. His directorial debut, Get Out is arguably the most thought-provoking and best directed film about racial alienation, and because Jordan Peele directed Get Out, it makes sense that he also directed Us. Us reportedly crushed the box office this weekend, just like Get Out did when it opened our eyes in 2017.
Wikipedia describes it well: Us is about “...an African-American family who are confronted by a group of doppelgangers”. Peele's two films (Us and the 2017 classic, Get Out) are related in many ways, such as the possibly connected secret organization present in both films, which makes Us especially good. They are both also directed by Jordan Peele, the guy who made Get Out.
Anyway, Us was a pretty good film but the best part about it was that it was directed by Jordan Peele.
